We here at Black Kat Motorwerks have been forced to bump up our labor rates. We can no longer single-handedly fight off the mighty powers of inflation and the rising cost of living.
Starting today, July 1st, the rate for new customers has gone up to $85/hr. Old customers will get a reduced transitional rate on work accepted before September 1st, so they can adjust with minimal discomfort.
You’ll find our rate is very competitive with other motorcycle shop labor rates. Rest assured we only bill for time actually put in, and we do only what you ask for, and what must be done.

Hey that South American sidecar adventure sounds like a real adventure…:)
Do you repair Urals? I am selling my 2006 Ural retro to a gentleman how lives in Venice and he was concerned to find someone who could work on it. Many thanks!
Regards,
Jim
We’ve worked on a few BMW-derived bikes, including Urals and Chang Jiangs. Primarily we’ve done basic maintenance, oil changes, carb/valve adjustments, gasket replacements, etc. Since that’s most likely what your buyer will need, we’ll be able to help. Major repairs or restoration would be best handled by someone else we can likely refer you (or him) to.
